What is Paybox.me ? Easy money or waste of time?!

PayBox.me is a new site i recently came across that seems to be along the same line as Paypal and Alertpay. Is this a way of making easy money or just another fairy tale for dreamers chasing extra income? Paybox  is developing an online currency and payment processing service to make buying and selling online easier, more secure and available to everyone. Right now Paybox is in its early stage where early bird users can contribute ideas and  give feedback before their planned launch in early 2011.
At launch the full features will include:

• Person-to-Person transactions.
• Small Business integration, including payment processing modules for all popular shopping cart software.
• Mid-sized Business integration.
• Major Online Store integration.
• Debit Card linked to your PayBox account.
• Currency exchange with all major world currencies.

I decided to take the plunge mid December. With a sign up bonus of $50 and by signing in almost every day for 5mins i seemed to have accumulated $650. Now that would be outstanding since all they ask is to sign in and do a few task daily. Well umm .. all of this is great except I can't exactly use the money since its still a closed box system and these are only Paybox dollars at the moment. That being the only drawback, it seems that there isn't much risk of being scammed. Unless you count the 5 mins wasted each day which many of us already do without a second thought. If this is something that turns out to be real,  it is very possible to earn hundreds or thousands of dollars in your account by the time they launch, without ever making a deposit!

Paybox will credit your account for reading there blog and answering their short surveys. As long as you continue to log in daily they can track your input to keep you are active or not. They are building community, where you will use your paybox money to purchase on their store and quite possibly other stores we shop at everyday. .

In the end you will have to make the decision for yourself to follow the cookie crumbs and try it out or not. Since they do not ask for any personal information, there seems to be no serious risk in joining.

A wonderful start to my day

What a great start to what i would have otherwise imagined it would be otherwise. Its amazing how kids can easily put a smile on your face no matter what is going on in your life. How innocent and genuine every action they make. This morning i was treated to one of those moments. My daughter Mikaylah is the first to wake walking into the living room looking for her dada while rubbing. She climbs into my lap with her juice cup in hand. Usually, she motions to the cup asking for more juice. Instead, she raises her head of my shoulder and roars/ growls like a animal. This is hilarious to me because even though i know she can say a few small words, i know this is her way of saying; "dada i want to see dinosaurs".  don't know what i would do these days without the internet tv shows and videos. Since i was already sitting in front of the computer I decide to put on some interesting kid friendly videos for her to watch.

Shortly after finding a long enough video for Mikaylah to watch while eating her breakfast, I hear a faint noise followed by a giggle. Now i know a lot of babies tend to wake up whining but I'm pretty sure it wasn't one of those times. Lil E (Erykah) is now waking up. I go to the room to make sure that I am not hearing things and peek around the corner. I can only imagine what is so funny to 5mo old. She must have been dreaming we all were at disney world after her dada won the lottery! lol . . .  that might have been my dream. She then spots me hanging in the doorway and gives me the biggest beautiful smile. One of those smiles that could "charm the birds out of a tree" as my mom always says.
Every morning is not a "kodak" moment like this but it is days like this that remind me of why i give up so  much for my kids. Why I love staying home with them and sharing these special moments.

Goodbye old Toyota 4runner. .  gonna miss ya. Oh well. I needed a more dependable, stylish vehicle that could handle my growing girls. I think I've found a match!
This car has been amazing so far, and we love it! The space is great, its a super quiet ride (no road noise) the seats are comfortable, the controls and functions are easy to use and it looks great! Now I'm looking forward to taking a true highway trip to see what this baby really can do.

Now i just have to get pass not telling my girl that i was upgrading. lol ..  umm .. Locking in my final answer to escape the inevitable argument. ..  I did it for the kids! :-)

We welcome the year 2011 and all seems well. Without missing a beat, we continue to take care of our family, go out and build new friendships/relationships and go to work. The one thing about going into a new year is that we sometimes set resolutions or goals that we would like to reach. All of this is great except in order to reach these goals you first must write them down.  And secondly, you must have a reason or a "W.H.Y".

Everything we do should have a WHY factor. I eat good because I'm hungry; I pay the gas bill because I want heat, I go on a diet because I want to lose weight etc. If we don't have a reason for doing something, chances are we won't do it.

Why is it that you are in business? Why do you get up to go to work every day?

I'm not sure if many people know their WHY. Its stands for What Hurts You! What in your life do you want to be doing better?!  In daily life and in business, determining “what” you want to accomplish will help you get out of the starting gate but determining “why” will help you cross the finish line.

Most people want: 

• More money - to pay off debt, or just to build more wealth.
• More time (freedom) - to never miss your kids activities, family events, vacation.

Personally, I want to be able to have the freedom to do my work anywhere I want and not be tied down to a desk, told when to wake up or when I can go on vacation and travel. I get to enjoy time with my kids without sending them off to a daycare and having someone else raise my kids; without having someone else see their first steps; hear their first words and any other accomplishments you can think of.

We must write our Goals and our WHY down to keep our eyes on the prize. Look at it frequently and never forget to give us motivation when there is no one around. When there is no one to cheer us on. This is particularly important when running a business where you can be your own boss or any project where you are the sole provider. 

Go forth and continue to be inspired by your WHY and I hope we all will become one step closer everyday to achieving our goals!

      As i get ready for the New year of 2011, I begin to think about resolutions i would like to make and seriously stick to.  When you take time out to be with your kids and become a stay at home dad, your options for making significant income begin to change. Not in a bad way but as you can imagine you have to modify your schedule to earn extra income. Fortunately I have come across a few programs and businesses that have provided me time to enjoy being with my family and paying the bills at the same time.
 
     I have done a little research on few different programs, affiliate, mlm, ptc, survey sites etc. and as in anything that you come across there are always good ones and bad ones. Legit and scams. Here are a few (3) that i have tried and actually had some success with.

• Pre-paid legal Services inc.- A good 38yr old NYSE company which is on the verge of becoming a household name. Gives access to legal counsel for a low monthly fee. -This is a network marketing company which has a great service that everyone needs, and also gives you the opportunity to run your own business. Become your own boss! Over the past few months I have had the privilege to work with some great people in the business and earn a substantial amount of money with the help of many mentors. Keep in mind though that this isn't a job but a business opportunity and a investment in yourself as well as your family. There is a start-up fee. I was easily able to make this back in the 1st week with the help of my upline sponsor and since then in my spare time able to make $200-$500 a month . -Don't miss the Fox Business Network program about Pre-Paid Legal, airing January 1st, 2011! 12pm & 4pm EST.
• Bux4ad- Make money from your very own website. Its a pretty self explanatory affiliate program and great for those who like to make passive income. • Neobux- is a PTC service which also lets you advertise. I haven't used the advertising aspect but I have used the ptc part. They say "A penny saved is a penny earned". Well this would definitely fit the profile. For a few minutes out of your day, (of doing not much at all, chatting, facebook etc.) you get some pennies for clicking on advertisements. Whether you actually read them or not, you collect. There are other ways to earn and all the more reason to check it out. Similar PTC sites are Darebux and Schnaap Klicks, BestBux.
