It Appears that since my time away from logging into my regular accounts i have come to realize that Paybox.com has made a name change. In the effort to re-brand itself and to get ready for the upcoming changes it is now called Virtapay. As you can see I've taken a little bit time off. Had a few issues with my computer which shut down on me and is out of caught the blue screen of death. Its amazing how far technology has come along and its a wonderful thing but at time it handicaps us without it.
So now back home after spending some time away this past week on a little vacation and ready to get back to every life. Keeping site of my goal to not work a regular 9-5 job. No stress. . No worries. I know it takes some time to get it running on autopilot and i will for sure have fun all the way until i achieve this goal and beyond. I love being able to spend this time with my kids. Seeing them grow and advance to new stages right before my eyes.

Paybox (pt2) : Is it for real?!

So far so good. . . . Paybox seems to be paying a nice lump sum of money just for logging on to their site and doing simple task. Below is the last few deposits and balance of the closed box paybox account. Which basically means that until they are open for real business and real transactions, we are unable to touch this virtual cash flow we seem to be accumulating. 

Paybox is now trying to move on to their next phase to become an open system. This goal to “Open the Box”, involves inviting merchants to accept PayBox. Who's your boss?

As I'm watching the President Obama address the nation on a variety of topics, the one thing that stands out to me personally was about our economy and creating more jobs for Americans. This may seem weird to those that are closest to me because they know I haven't held a real job in some time now. Being blessed with the opportunity to play basketball overseas in Europe for 11yrs I really wouldn't say is a job. Whenever you are doing something you love and have a passion for, to me, will never feel like a job.
Now that my career is winding down, I am faced with the decision of what to do next. Do i want to work for someone else for the next 30+ years or continue to control and create my own destiny.
Now don't get me wrong. .. there is nothing wrong with working. It helps pay the bills and in some cases it adds stability to many people's lives. The question now is at what price do you pay to work for someone else? When is your last day? 

• When is your last day working at a job you don't like?
• When is your last day of being chained to some time clock?
• When is your last day of being behind on bills?
• When is your last day of being in debt?
• When is your last day of being told what to do each day?
• When is your last day of letting someone else decide for you how much you're worth and how much you will get paid?

What is Paybox.me ? Easy money or waste of time?!

PayBox.me is a new site i recently came across that seems to be along the same line as Paypal and Alertpay. Is this a way of making easy money or just another fairy tale for dreamers chasing extra income? A wonderful start to my day

What a great start to what i would have otherwise imagined it would be otherwise. Its amazing how kids can easily put a smile on your face no matter what is going on in your life. How innocent and genuine every action they make. This morning i was treated to one of those moments. My daughter Mikaylah is the first to wake walking into the living room looking for her dada while rubbing. She climbs into my lap with her juice cup in hand. Usually, she motions to the cup asking for more juice. Instead, she raises her head of my shoulder and roars/ growls like a animal. This is hilarious to me because even though i know she can say a few small words, i know this is her way of saying; "dada i want to see dinosaurs".  don't know what i would do these days without the internet tv shows and videos. Since i was already sitting in front of the computer I decide to put on some interesting kid friendly videos for her to watch.

Shortly after finding a long enough video for Mikaylah to watch while eating her breakfast, I hear a faint noise followed by a giggle. Now i know a lot of babies tend to wake up whining but I'm pretty sure it wasn't one of those times. Lil E (Erykah) is now waking up. I go to the room to make sure that I am not hearing things and peek around the corner. I can only imagine what is so funny to 5mo old. She must have been dreaming we all were at disney world after her dada won the lottery! lol . . .  that might have been my dream. She then spots me hanging in the doorway and gives me the biggest beautiful smile. One of those smiles that could "charm the birds out of a tree" as my mom always says.
Every morning is not a "kodak" moment like this but it is days like this that remind me of why i give up so  much for my kids. Why I love staying home with them and sharing these special moments.

Goodbye old Toyota 4runner. .  gonna miss ya. Oh well. I needed a more dependable, stylish vehicle that could handle my growing girls. I think I've found a match!
This car has been amazing so far, and we love it! The space is great, its a super quiet ride (no road noise) the seats are comfortable, the controls and functions are easy to use and it looks great! Now I'm looking forward to taking a true highway trip to see what this baby really can do.

Now i just have to get pass not telling my girl that i was upgrading. lol ..  umm .. Locking in my final answer to escape the inevitable argument. ..  I did it for the kids! :-)

We welcome the year 2011 and all seems well. Without missing a beat, we continue to take care of our family, go out and build new friendships/relationships and go to work. The one thing about going into a new year is that we sometimes set resolutions or goals that we would like to reach. All of this is great except in order to reach these goals you first must write them down.  And secondly, you must have a reason or a "W.H.Y".

Everything we do should have a WHY factor. I eat good because I'm hungry; I pay the gas bill because I want heat, I go on a diet because I want to lose weight etc. If we don't have a reason for doing something, chances are we won't do it.

Why is it that you are in business? Why do you get up to go to work every day?

I'm not sure if many people know their WHY. Its stands for What Hurts You! What in your life do you want to be doing better?!  In daily life and in business, determining “what” you want to accomplish will help you get out of the starting gate but determining “why” will help you cross the finish line.

Most people want: 

• More money - to pay off debt, or just to build more wealth.
• More time (freedom) - to never miss your kids activities, family events, vacation.

Personally, I want to be able to have the freedom to do my work anywhere I want and not be tied down to a desk, told when to wake up or when I can go on vacation and travel. I get to enjoy time with my kids without sending them off to a daycare and having someone else raise my kids; without having someone else see their first steps; hear their first words and any other accomplishments you can think of.

We must write our Goals and our WHY down to keep our eyes on the prize. Look at it frequently and never forget to give us motivation when there is no one around. When there is no one to cheer us on.       As i get ready for the New year of 2011, I begin to think about resolutions i would like to make and seriously stick to.  When you take time out to be with your kids and become a stay at home dad, your options for making significant income begin to change. Become your own boss! Over the past few months I have had the privilege to work with some great people in the business and earn a substantial amount of money with the help of many mentors. Keep in mind though that this isn't a job but a business opportunity and a investment in yourself as well as your family. There is a start-up fee. Happy Holidays - Things to smile about

     As the holiday season has arrived, I decided to think about all the things that keeps me going, makes me laugh and what makes me smile. Even though I'm in a different position than I was a few years ago, I feel that my family and I are still on the right track. And seeing that a lot of people and families are going through some tough times, I know my family (immediate and distant), are coming together to comfort and help each other.  Many people tend to take things for granted without keeping in mind that no matter how hard we "think" we have it, there are families who can't support their children, or even themselves.
So here is my quick list of what I'm thankful for.

• I have a family who loves me and who I am very close with.
• I am in good shape and health.
• 2 beautiful daughters I get to enjoy Christmas with.
• house that keeps me warm in the winter.
• my wonderful girlfriend. And even though we don't see eye to eye all the time, I know in any event, she will always have my back.
• my many friends here in the states and in Europe. I have been blessed to be able to meet people all over the world while playing professional basketball.
• friends I can count on and remind you of those days when the original Tron and Transformers originally hit the scene.
• being able to be a stay at home dad never missing a beat with my kids while earning extra income in my spare time. 
• Internet/Skype! I know it sounds funny but for this holiday season we are visiting in-laws and skype will allow me to visually enjoy Christmas with my family back home.

 As I'm sure there are a million other thing that I have forgotten to mention, there is no mistaking the importance of family and friends. I've heard this many times before and still believe it today. "There is no such thing as a self made man. You will reach your goals with the help of others". What better way to do it than with the people you love.

Outnumbered by females

     Its been a few months now since our youngest daughter, Erykah was born. Its amazing how fast children grown right before your eyes. Feels like we just had Mikaylah but at 20months old, she is now the older sister. Though she acts like the baby baby, I am admiring the bond that the two of them are making.

Kim and I have been dating. . umm . . uhhh .. say 11yrs now and wham! 2 girls pop out back to back. Its amazing how a persons life can change around so fast. Its one thing to hear about it and another to actually be the one in the situation.  lol . .. guess you have to be careful what you ask for.
I say this for 2 reasons:

• I've wanted to have kids for the last 5yrs. married or not.
• I've always enjoyed the company of females. (for conversation of course)

Got my wish . . I am surrounded by girls. I forgot to mention that my sister has 3 girls. As you can tell men are outnumbered in my family.  Its not a bad thing. Well as long as they know I am the man of the house! At least I know in the future that we will have a lot of nice home cooked meals.

All this and my friends and family keep asking me .. "Soooo . . when are you going to try for the baby boy?"

I think I'll wait a while before rolling the dice on # 3. . .

     My name is Eric Poole. aka Big E to my family and friends. Playing sports gives me a sense of belonging to a team and something more than myself. Growing up in the small town of Beltsville, MD (USA) I played soccer, baseball, football and basketball. Well basketball kind of grew on me or should i say i grew into it. As i am 6'8" now, which is not amazingly tall but you can imagine how i grew over the years as a teen.

I have played professional European basketball for the past 11yrs in various countries. Sweden, Switzerland, France, Germany, Latvia, and Belgium. Even a short stint in Argentina. I love traveling and experiencing different cultures. 

I Live with my girlfriend Kim, my 2 beautiful daughters Mikaylah (20mo) and Erykah (4mo) and also 2 mini pins (dogs) who guard my girls when I'm away.

I am an open person and generally positive about all situations to the point that i always think the glass is half full and not half-empty.  "Everyday is a blessing to behold.!" A day is too valuable to waste on misery and unhappiness. Even misery cannot stand up to a happy face and heart.

I am kind of new at blogging so lets just see where this takes us on my new journey of being a stay at home dad.
